Shraddha Kapoor makes a happy announcement

A few hours ago, SpotboyE.com told you about Sonakshi Sinha announcing the release date of her upcoming film Noor (Sonakshi Sinha announces Noor’s release date, Aug 6).
And now, we’ve found out that the Arjun Kapoor-Shraddha Kapoor-starrer Half Girlfriend has also found a date for itself in next year’s movie calendar. The Mohit Suri-directorial, which was initially scheduled to release on October 7 this year, will hit the screens on May 19, 2017.
Shraddha took to social media to announce the happy news:
The lead actors -- Shraddha and Arjun -- have been working really hard on the project as it has them play basketball fanatics. The film is based on an eponymous novel by Chetan Bhagat. Arjun has already worked in a movie based on Chetan’s book 2 States.

Half Girlfriend will see Shraddha and Arjun pairing up on screen for the first time. The film revolves around the poignant relationship between Madhav Jha (Arjun) and Riya Somani (Shraddha). While Madhav is a simple guy from Bihar, Riya is a rich and beautiful Dilli ki kudi. The movie went on floors in Delhi in June.
Half Girlfriend, produced by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Motion pictures, also features Amy Jackson, Seema Biswas and Vikrant Massey in key roles.
